An example of this is how we organise the time slots so that swaps with other vehicles en route run completely smoothly. As a result, the goods get to their destination more quickly. What’s more, swap bodies mean that the wheels never have to stop turning. The swap body is taken off for loading so that the vehicle can continue making other journeys until the swap body is ready to hit the road again. The characteristics of swap bodies make them absolutely ideal for high-volume freight services, which call for flexible scheduling:
